How We Met
It all started with a swipe right and a "Go Dawgs"....
In the Summer of 2022, Rachel was in Boston for the U.S. Open and even after she returned to Kansas City, still found herself looking into what Boston's dating scene had to offer. She sent a "Go Dawgs" message to Kirsten and the two began talking, neither one thinking anything would come of it. Rachel was in Kansas City and Kirsten was in Boston, both with lives and jobs that made dating feel impossible. After a few weeks of talking every day, Rachel texted Kirsten that she had a crazy idea. She asked if she could fly Kirsten to Pittsburgh to be her date to a friend's wedding. Kirsten polled a few family and friends and the responses were unanimously, "you gotta go". So she did.
On July 22nd, 2022 they met in person for the first time, the night before the wedding, at a dive bar in Pittsburgh. Kirsten went home that night hoping that was the last first date she would ever go on. She knew Rachel was the one.
Rachel said the second Kirsten walked into the bar, she knew that this was it, she had found her.
